Why Tallow

Traditional, store bought, water based moisturizers or cleansers can strip the skin of our natural oils, leaving our skin’s microbiome in a constant state of repair. Tallow mimics sebum (our skins natural oils) and blends perfectly into our skin. When rendered down properly, Grass-fed and finished tallow is full of some incredible nutrients as well, including vitamins A, D, K and E, saturated fats, omega 3’s, stearic acid and conjugated linoleic acid. Tallow is also anti inflammatory and anti-microbial, which means that it can help cleanse and protect the skin more effectively.
